-Les Jamelles, Clair de Gris Grenache Gris 2017 IGP Pays
d'Oc
Tasted
blind.
Very very
pale onion skin. Doesn't smell of much. Slightly dusty. On the mineral/savoury
side, with an arching
acidity,
dry, an impression of orange peel and pith, dusting of fennel. Finesse,
although it does
finish just
a little short. (TC)13% Drink 2018-2019

-Les Jamelles, Cépage Rare Rosé Mourvèdre 2017 IGP Pays
d'Oc
Tasted
blind.
Distinctly
golden tinge through the pale pink. Smells like a white wine! Pears and quince
and saffron-spiced fat-
bottomed
curvaceous fruit with lots of spice. Wild-strawberry scented, a hint of
earthiness, and
long,
determined finish. A wine that reminds me a bit of Blanc de Noir champagnes. (TC)13%
